前⽥憲男 – 映画「3000キロの罠」オリジナル・サウンドトラック (LP)

$61.10

Vinyl LP, Album, Limited Edition, Reissue

Has there ever been a soundtrack as thrilling and beautiful as this? This is the best of cine-jazz, created by master filmmaker Norio Maeda. The film "The 3,000-kilometer Trap" was released in 1971. Produced by/starring Jiro Tamiya and directed by Jun Fukuda, the film is a suspense action film featuring a Mitsubishi Galant GTO that drives throughout the film as its catchphrase says, "From Kagoshima to Hokkaido, a sports car that runs the length of Japan. This road movie is often compared to the American New Cinema masterpiece "Vanishing Point. The music was composed by master pianist Norio Maeda. The piano is brilliantly cornering, the vibraphone is galloping, the bass is powerfully galloping, and the drums are gearing up. Dynamism and silence, obsession and desire, joy and sorrow. Thrilling performances and beautiful melodies bring out the full appeal of the film. It is of extraordinary quality, not only as a soundtrack, but also as "Japanese jazz" of 1971. This is a performance of this caliber. It is a pity that the exact personel is not known, but it has long been whispered that it is related to Sound Limited (or The Third) led by Takeshi Inomata. text by Yusuke Ogawa (UNIVERSOUNDS / DEEP JAZZ REALITY)
