This is a 2022 reissue vinyl LP pressing of The Woman From Marusa by Toshiyuki Honda. The Japanese jazz composer and musician originally released his album on February 25, 1987, via Eastworld Records. Produced by Naoki Tachikawa, this long-awaited LP reissue of the soundtrack version of the masterpiece movie “Marusa no Onna” directed by Juzo Itami, is set in the National Tax Bureau Inspection Department. Starting with the main theme “Woman of Marsa”, which has an extremely powerful flowing saxophone melody, is a masterpiece of Toshiyuki Honda’s impressive sound suitable for a film full of originality.
