The Car, the first since 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino, is set in a musical landscape of gorgeous orchestration, proving that the Arctic Monkeys’ sound has reached new heights. , Depicting them acting freely, it contains the most mellow and complete vocal performance throughout Alex Turner’s career.
