Radiohead and The Smile frontman Thom Yorke and pioneering producer Mark Pritchard have released their debut duo album, "Tall Tales," on Warp Records.
This marks the pair's second collaboration, following the critically acclaimed "Beautiful People" from Mark Pritchard's 2016 album, "Under the Sun," and Yorke's first release on Warp Records.
Mark Pritchard is a renowned electronic music leader known for projects such as Reload, Link, and Global Communication, his collaboration with Tom Middleton, who produced the ambient techno masterpiece "76:14." In 2011, they released two remixes of Radiohead's "Bloom," and have since remixed artists such as Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, and Slowdive, showcasing their diverse style and diverse aliases.
On "This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice," Marc Pritchard unearths vintage synthesizer equipment from their archives to create unpredictable, experimental music, while Thom Yorke showcases his expansive, ethereal vocals and introspective, dark storytelling.
