After serving as the vocalist for the Korean jazzy-pop group WINTERPLAY, Moon Haewon transitioned into a solo jazz career, releasing Kiss Me (Universal Music) and three other notable albums. Her first collaboration with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, Midnight Sun (somethin' cool), released last year, won the Gold Prize in the Vocal Category at the Jazz Audio Disc Awards 2024 by Jazz Hihyo (Jazz Critique), gaining immense popularity among audiophiles and jazz enthusiasts globally.
 
Reunited with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto for this latest work, the album features 11 tracks, focusing on soulful ballads such as "Solitary Moon" (a lyrical adaptation of the classic Pat Metheny & Charlie Haden performance), "Early Autumn," and "Mood Indigo," as well as a gem-like duo rendition of "Alfie." Other essential listens include Moon’s original title track and "Water Fog," a masterpiece by the "Godmother of Korean Jazz," Park Sung-yeon. Please note that "The Very Thought of You" and "Prelude to a Kiss" are exclusive to the CD version.
