Takako Shirai 白井貴子 and The Crazy Boys – Flower Power (LP)

“FLOWER POWER” is the fifth album released in 1985 by Takako Shirai & THE CRAZY BOYS, marking their first album under this name. Over the course of a year, they performed more than 200 live shows, earning the title of “Queen of Rock” and achieving successful performances at places like Nippon Budokan and Seibu Stadium. This album became a pivotal work that helped spark the girls’ rock movement.

The album features 10 tracks, including the hit song “Chance!”. All lyrics and music were written and composed by Takako Shirai, and the arrangements were done in collaboration with the members of THE CRAZY BOYS. Shirai also served as the album’s producer, bringing her strong creative vision to life. After 38 years, the album is being reissued as a remastered and cut analog vinyl, allowing a new generation of listeners to experience this classic rock gem.
