八代亜紀 – 夜のつづき (LP)

The long-awaited record reissue of “Yoru no tsudzuki” is now available. It is the second full-scale jazz album of Aki Yashiro. The first album “Yoru no album”, which was released in 2017. Yasuharu Konishi is producer the album, following the previous work. With Japanese jazz musicians in the background, R & B songs and popular songs are taken from the jazz standards that were popular in the 1950s and 1960s, expressing the nostalgic and mood-filled sound of the passing days.

2017年にリリースされた、「夜のアルバム」に続く“演歌の女王”八代亜紀の本格ジャズ・アルバム第2弾『夜のつづき』が、待望のレコード再発決定！ アルバムのプロデュースは、前作に引き続き小西康陽が担当。バックには日本の誇るジャズ・ミュージシャンを揃えつつ、1950～60年代に流行したジャズ・スタンダードからR&Bソング、そして歌謡曲を採り上げ、過ぎし日のノスタルジックで夜のムードあふれるサウンドを表現。
