Cheatahs – Cheatahs

After a March/April national US tour supporting Wavves and Fidlar, and in between a smattering of UK/European summer shows that included a performance at the Primavera Festival and touring with Metz — London based, Cheatahs headed home to finish their self titled debut album. Featuring the anthemic, The Swan (an altered take from the EP version), Cut the Grass, which premiered on the AV Club in august (crunchy textures with dreamy melodies and wispy vocal harmonies) and Fall, a track that premiered on pitchfork in march and was quickly declared a catchy-as-f*ck soaring-guitar anthem by Stereogum. The booming track, Get Tight will premiere early January 2014.
